I became an Insurance Advisor because I wanted to help Filipino families achieve their financial goals while also achieving mine. I have always been a helpful person. But my perspective on insurance changed after a difficult experience with someone close to me who was hospitalized and needed financial support, and who later passed away, leaving behind a family facing both grief and financial obligations. Reaching out to friends and family to help cover medical expenses in that moment made me think differently about how families prepare, or are not able to prepare, for the unexpected. Insurance cannot undo a loss, but it can help give a family more room to grieve and rebuild without the added weight of unpaid bills, provided the right coverage is in place ahead of time.

That experience is part of why I became an Insurance Advisor: not just to sell insurance, but to help families think through how they would be supported if life took an unexpected turn. I want the people closest to me and as many Filipino families as I can reach to have that conversation before they need it, and to make an informed choice about what protection is right for their own situation.
